There is no right age to start the journey of what excites you.

Timelines are so prevalent in the culture of humanity, especially the societies we live in today. From graduating school at a certain age to having a child and starting a family, there is an expectation to fulfill life stages at very specific times.

So then, what happens when you don't complete these life events at the expected time? What if you want to start learning how to play the piano at 50 or earn your nursing degree years after having children? I so often see people (myself included) looking longingly at an interest or endeavor they have the desire to pursue, but they are held back by the worry that they are no longer the 'appropriate' age to begin. There is no 'right' age to start the journey of what excites you.

Laura Ingalls Wilder didn't start writing until her 40's.

Hannah Taylor started the Ladybug Foundation aiding homeless at 5. Vincent Van Gogh started painting at nearly 30.

Whether your passion is writing, art, starting a new passion project or anything else, don't let your age intimidate you into not taking action of what sets your soul on fire.
